Diseases we treat

Irregular Menstruation & Homoeopathy

Menstrual irregularity includes cycles that are too early, late, scanty, heavy, painful or absent. PCOD, thyroid imbalance, stress, weight change, fibroids and the approach of menopause are common causes.

Common signs

  • Cycles shorter than 21 or longer than 35 days
  • Very heavy or very scanty flow
  • Severe cramps, back pain or nausea with periods
  • Spotting between periods

How homoeopathy approaches it

Rather than suppressing the symptom alone, a homoeopathic physician studies the whole person — the pattern of complaints, what makes them better or worse, general health, temperament and history — and selects a remedy that matches that individual picture. Treatment aims to raise the body’s own resistance so that relief is lasting and relapses become fewer. Uterine fibroids and PCOD, when present, are treated as part of the same plan.
