Diseases we treat

Nasal Allergy & Homoeopathy

Nasal allergy (allergic rhinitis) is inflammation of the nose lining caused by inhaled allergens such as pollen, dust mites, mould or animal dander.

Common signs

  • Bouts of sneezing, especially in the morning
  • Watery running nose or a blocked nose
  • Itching of the nose, eyes, palate or ears
  • Headache, loss of smell or recurrent sinusitis

How homoeopathy approaches it

Rather than suppressing the symptom alone, a homoeopathic physician studies the whole person — the pattern of complaints, what makes them better or worse, general health, temperament and history — and selects a remedy that matches that individual picture. Treatment aims to raise the body’s own resistance so that relief is lasting and relapses become fewer. The aim is to reduce the sensitivity itself so that seasons and dust no longer provoke the same reaction.
